With an exciting programme of work planned, we are looking for a talented Functional Analyst to help us on our mission of delivering world-class user experiences and a seamless interaction between technology and users. Is this you?

The Digital Experience team lead customer-centric design services across the University’s portfolio of applications, platforms and services in partnership with the wider university. We believe in inclusive design, and embrace the diversity of our community.

 

The opportunity

  • You will need a good understanding of modern web approaches, including experience with some front-end development tasks, eg Javascript and CSS
  • Experienced across multiple systems and ways of working, you’ll need to be comfortable working with a range of tools
  • You’ll be an individual with real character and insights, great at customer service, experienced with the web and IT systems, and ideally no stranger to an agile way of working!
  • You’ll be helping solve complex problems requiring skills across backend systems including CMS’s, domain management and analytics tools, then working closely with our architects, application engineering teams, designers and developers throughout the design and build process.
  • You’ll be helping solve customer queries relating to our team’s provision of digital services across the organisation, and working as a key part of our team to deliver solutions that improve the user experience of people interacting with the University both internally and externally.
