This is an exciting opportunity for someone keen to work as part of a busy team with high standards. Reporting to the Director of Resources this role supports the Equity Office’s strategic communications, marketing and engagement with current and prospective students, their whānau/families and schools, and with staff across the University. You will be proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance awareness of equity at the University of Auckland. You will be able to show evidence of excellent written and verbal communications and draft content suited to varying audiences.
You will also be able to demonstrate your understanding of effective use of digital social media platforms including writing for web, to promote awareness of the Equity office and monitor and report on their success. It is essential that you are proficient across the MS packages, and candidates that have used InDesign and Adobe combined with exposure to Google analytics, will be strongly considered.
Candidates with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated sound judgement and integrity combined with strong attention to detail and planning and organising skills will be key to the success of this role. There will be a requirement to coordinate a number of key events throughout the year and you will need to be comfortable in the organisation of these events.
