My client is an award-winning engineering consultancy and is currently on the look out for an ambitious geotechnical engineer, wanting to take a step into a business development and managerial role, by working as an Associate Director in their office located in the heart of London.

The role will see you lead a team of 10 engineers, and is a great opportunity for those of a Principal level wanting to challenge themselves further and take the next step up on the career ladder.

In addition, the company being a mid-sized at this point, provides you with the best chance to join, as you will be given the space to shape the business for the future and gain recognition for your work.

Requirements:

• Geotechnical Design experience is a must
• Demonstrated ability of leadership skills - i.e. leading a team
• Must be chartered
• Experience within building projects
• Competent in piling, piled walls, foundation and retaining wall design, temporary works, soil nails, ground anchors and the planning, implementation and interpretation of site investigations
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and gain a good understanding of their sector to foster effective and enduring relationships
