In all areas, the emphasis is on creative exploration and discovery and on interdisciplinary collaboration across the faculty.

Applications are invited for the position of Finance and Planning Analyst.  This will see you working across both Faculties as a member of the Faculty finance teams located at our Epsom and City campuses.

In this role you’ll be responsible for providing reports, business and planning support and analysis to improve the processes and operations and assist management decision making, in both the Faculty of Education and Social Work and Creative Arts and Industries, assisting them to meet their goals in learning, teaching research and administrative activities.

Areas of accountability include the provision of reports, analysis and information to assist each Faculty Senior Management Team to meet operational and strategic goals as well as Faculty based KPIs.  Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing analysis of operational and financial process to identify areas for improvement;

  • Monitoring, analysis and communication of student enrolment trends to support forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning processes;

  • Supporting each Faculty finance team by providing reports, sourcing data and analysis for forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning processes;

To enable success in this role you will have a Bachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance information systems or economics with strong analytical skills as well as forecasting and/or financial modelling experience.  In addition you’ll demonstrate strong communication and people skills as well as having experience of working successfully in a large and complex organisation.

If you’re keen to work in a world class tertiary environment and provide analytical support to these driven and ambitious Faculties, we'd like to hear from you.
