Are you passionate about developing others? Do you have experience of supporting colleagues to develop their approaches to their academic practice? Are you keen to contribute to the development of new services to support excellent academic practice?

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic and self-motivated colleague to join our team. You will primarily focus on the following areas of work; the development and delivery of our new Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP) and seeking accreditation from the Higher Education Academy for this certificate, contributing to the Professional Recognition in Student Education (PRiSE) scheme and the delivery of an open programme of events for academic colleagues and postgraduate researchers.

You will have excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills, plus extensive relevant experience and knowledge to enable you to provide effective support to academic colleagues and postgraduate researchers (PGRs). You will be flexible in your approach, be highly organised, able to manage a varied and challenging workload and take a collaborative approach to your work. You will also have a higher education degree or equivalent, a qualification in teaching/training (e.g PGCHE, PGDip, MEd) and Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
