Senior Analytical Chemist, Future Team-Lead Role, Roosendaal

A new opportunity as Senior Analytical Chemist to be based in the Roosendaal area of The Netherlands has become available. As result of internal promotion the company are looking for an experienced Analytical Chemist with expertise in using liquid chromatography (HPLC/UPLC) and gas chromatography (GC) to help with their Paints & Coatings product range. They are looking for someone who is motivated to take the next step in their career because they want to develop them into a Team Lead position within the next 2-3 years, so you will put on a development plan which will help you step up in seniority as soon as you join the company.

Your responsibility is to act as the go-to person for analytical queries within the Research & Development, developing new analytical test methods, analysing paints & coatings formulations and resins and providing feedback to the R&D team about quality issues, so you will have the chance to really make a difference to the quality of the products you work with.

With an open working environment and flat management hierarchies, the company have excellent visibility internally, so it is easy to see the good work that everyone is doing internally, so when you get good results you will get recognition from senior management and colleagues alike. Requirements:

• Masters Degree in Chemistry accepted. PhD in Chemistry of benefit.
• 5-8 years experience using HPLC/UPLC (liquid chromatography) methods/equipment
• Experience in analytical chemistry foced on paints, coatings or resins essential
• Confidence in English speaking essential for daily work. B2 level Dutch (Flemish) preferred.
