Job Details
Job Purpose
The postholder will be required to develop free-space optical and electronic instrumentation for remote read-out of the optical sensors as well as data/image analysis for wound care applications.
Person Specification
*completed a PhD in physical Sciences or engineering or related discipline.
*Expertise in one or more of the following areas: free space optics, electronics engineering, quantitative image and some experience of working with biological entities (e.g. antibodies, aptamers) and samples.
*High level of analytical capability and significant hands-on experience in a laboratory environment.
*Record of publishing in leading international journals and/or at conferences.
*Self-motivated, hard worker and original thinker.
*Ability to communicate complex information clearly across the disciplines.
*Understanding of and ability to contribute to broader management/administration processes.
