The Development and Alumni Relations Office is looking to recruit a Senior Communication Officer to join a dynamic, highly respected and fast growing Development and Alumni Relations team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the University of Bristol’s growing output of effective and engaging fundraising, stewardship, and engagement materials. Educated to degree level, you’ll demonstrate exceptional copywriting skills and experience across a mix of channels. You’ll have meticulous attention to detail and a love for the English language, you’ll be full of creative ideas and will constantly strive to deliver the best in order to grow the University’s philanthropic income to support the mission and delivery of the University's strategic priorities.

The main focus of this role is in the copy writing and editing of direct mail, marketing copy, magazine copy, e-communication and web pages, with an increasing emphasis on digital delivery. This job requires someone with savvy marketing copy writing skills and a strong ability to form a series of tones and language for our different stakeholders (alumni, friends and donors).  Your communication, project management and relationship building skills will be second to none, helping you to work effectively across the Office and the wider University, juggling projects, and fast becoming a valued member of our lively, collaborative team.
