The University of Bristol’s Veterinary School is seeking to recruit an experienced veterinary Clinical Pathologist with energy, commitment and a passion.
Enthusiasm for teaching is essential as is a track record of delivery as part of a diagnostic clinical pathology service. The ideal candidate will be a recognised expert and will have evidence of research, with a proven track record of disseminating their findings through publication. A Diploma level qualification in veterinary clinical pathology or eligibility to sit for the Diploma is also essential. You will sit as part of the wider pathology team at the centre of a busy and energised academic environment delivering teaching, clinical service and research.
You will be expected to deliver high quality clinical teaching and didactic and practical instruction of undergraduate veterinary and veterinary nursing students and to supervise postgraduates. You will also participate in the delivery of a high quality diagnostic service in veterinary clinical pathology with three other specialists, one resident on an approved residency programme and one intern.
The level of the tenure track appointment will be made according to qualifications and experience. The appointee will be eligible for an additional veterinary allowance.
