Job Details
You should have a higher research degree (preferably PhD or an MSc by research) and an honours degree in a related area. Previous experience of collecting, analyzing and reporting on animal behaviour and welfare data is essential, as are advanced planning and interpersonal skills. You must be happy working independently and talking with a wide variety of people, and ideally will have experience of working on sensitive issue. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of standard statistical methods, and evidence of peer reviewed publications in a related area. They will be able to work independently, whilst maintaining good communication with their line manager. Experience of working with dogs is desirable.
