Assistant Professor Yale School of Medicine

Yale University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry is recruiting a full-time assistant professor focused on imaging genomics to enhance the recently formed Division of Neurocognition, Neurocomputation and Neurogenetics (n3).  We anticipate that the new faculty member will focus, at least initially, on (1) developing a deeper understanding of the genetic basis of human brain structure and function, (2) performing image analysis on large-scale imaging genomic data sets (>1000) including neuroanatomic, diffusion tensor, and resting state fMRI data, (3) developing novel image analytic approaches for gene discovery, and (4) applying imaging genomic finding  and methodologies to the study of neuropsychiatric and addictive disorders.  The successful candidate will have an existing track record and skill set to interface with the translational research in our department.  This research dedicated position also requires mentoring students, teaching and administrative activities within the department.

Yale University is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity employer. Yale values diversity among its students, staff, and faculty and strongly welcomes applications from women, persons with disabilities, protected veterans, and underrepresented minorities.

Inquiries about the position may be sent to the search committee chair, Dr. David Glahn, Professor of Psychiatry, via email to david.glahn@yale.edu
