Snr Development Chemist - Worldwide Known Oral Care Products

Are you passionate about the chemistry of innovative products and constantly chase involvement in all the steps of the development? Look no more, my client is a worldwide player in personal care and household products and is looking for a Senior Development Chemist to assist in the development of oral care products. You will have the chance to share experiences with high caliber colleagues and to contribute to the growing of the organization.

The duty includes:

• Formulating and developing products as directed by the R&D Manager
• Organize in-house and external customer testing for new product development
• Establish effective cross-functional relationships with all departments involved in the process of product development
• Work Closely with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure that formulation meets all the specific requirements
• Provide support to operations in product manufacturing
• Participate in personal care and cosmetics brainstorming sessions
• Work with external research institutions
• Understand and comply with EU Cosmetics Directive, secrecy agreements and Health & Safety Regulations
• Liaise with third parties and suppliers
• Represent the company in technology exhibitions and trade shows

Skills and Experience:

• Life-Science University Degree or other professional qualifications to degree level
• Experience in the FMCG industry (formulation, testing, and regulations)
• Problem Solving abilities, Excellent Communication skills and capability to work in cross functional teams
• Proactivity, self-motivation and ability to anticipate
• Excellent IT knowledge (MS Word, Excel)

Salary: £ 29,000- £ 30,000
