Applications are invited for the role of either Research Support Assistant or Research Associate to work alongside other research staff on a RCUK-funded project entitled “Protein 4 Life”. The research will be conducted in the Nutrition and Behaviour Unit and will comprise laboratory-based experiments to quantify determinants of food choice in consumers stratified by age and gender. The objective is to explore evidence for responses to specific macronutrients and the role of associated sensory characteristics in food choice.

The Research Support Assistant will be responsible for data collection, data analysis, and preliminary dissemination of findings with an interest and experience in experimental psychology, nutrition, or a cognate discipline.  

The Research Associate will be responsible for designing studies, data collection, and data analysis, and will lead the dissemination of findings at academic conferences and in publications.
