Administrative assistant: CLINICAL PATHOLOGY
PEROMNES POST LEVEL 12 (CONTRACT)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will be responsible for:
Debtors and creditors financial administration:
Procurement and payment of stock;
Printing, checking and sending of monthly invoices;
Monitoring payments;
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12;
- 2 years laboratory administration experience.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES):
- Computer literacy (MS Word; Excel, Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) software);
- Some knowledge of centrifuges laboratory equipment and the maintenance thereof;
- Attention to detail;
- Accuracy.
ADDED ADVANTAGES AND PREFERENCES:
Knowledge of the PeopleSoft system
NOTE: All shortlisted candidates should be prepared to participate in relevant competency testing as part of the selection process.
The all-inclusive remuneration package for this contract position will be commensurate with the incumbent’s level of appointment, as determined by UP policy guidelines.
