Formulations Lacklaborant, Career Entry, Diverse R&D Team

A fantastic opportunity for a junior qualified Lacklaborant to take the first step into the professional employment market as formulations developer in the laboratory. You will be joinin a diverse R&D team with a wide range of ages from 25-60 years old, who have a fun and vibrant working environment meaning that their employees enjoy going to work every day. As a result of the diverse range of people in the R&D team, there is a wide range of technical knowledge and expertise on-hand for you to ask questions, so you can learn from all types of experts in the business.

The company you will be working for are a well-known player in the Paints & Coatings industry in Germany. At their site in Stuttgart they specialise in the development and manufacture of their Marine & Protective Coatings systems for applications including pipelines, bridges, wind turbines, onshore oil & gas platforms, shipping containers, yachts and ships among a wide range of other applications, so you will get to grips with a wide range of systems in your time with them.

Role responsibilites:

• Formulations Development of coating systems in the laboratory (90-95%)
• Applications Testing (spray-tests, corrosion-testing) in the laboratory
• Assistance with training sales representatives on an occasional basis
• Research of new technologies and systems in the field of protective & marine coatings

Requirements:

• Qualification as Lacklaborant or Lacktechniker
• Initial experience in formulations development of coatings preferred
• B2 level German required for day-to-day use. English at a conversational level also required
