Business Development Manager - International CRO - EU WIDE

There aren't many CRO's in Europe that offer their clients a truly complete service for their Plant Protection needs. This CRO in particular is one of the leading Agrochemical consultancies in Europe with a presence in over 14 countries and over 400 hundred employees of different nationalities and cultures.

They can offer their clients testing facilities in all geographical areas for product registrations in Europe. To help facilitate growth and let companies know about their services, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager with a technical background within GLP.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will manage an existing client portfolio while continually winning new business allowing you to become a key figure within the growth of the company. While this is a commercial role, you will need a strong background within agrochemical testing in order to provide a better service to clients. This means you will retain a strong technical aspect to you role keeping things varied and challenging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and develop the existing client portfolio in accordance with the clients Business Action Plan,
  • Identify and source new markets,
  • prepare quotations according to the technical and financial aspects requested,
  • Production of sales reports
  • Commercial point of contact for clients and technical managers.

Key Requirements:

  • A scientific education within Agronomy (Masters, PhD etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position
  • Proven track recording in a Business Development, Sales or Account management position
  • Hands on experience within a GLP environment for the Agrochemical secotor
  • Knowledge of ARM software
  • Professional proficiency in both French and English
