Graduate Chemist - move into Regulatory
Our client is a leading speciality chemicals organisation offering an interesting set of products within industry. They have a rich history of established products and established raw material ranges. This breadth of products, on offer suggests anybody joining will have a broad product range to be exposed to.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chemist to get their foot into the door within the regulatory arena by playing a support role to the regulatory team. These opportunities are often unheard of and will provide a platform to be trained within various software platforms used to manage / input regulatory data.As a Regulatory administrator and utilising your chemistry background you will assess product formulations and understand the chemistry related to it. This will be crucial in understanding and interacting with the customers of the company such as super market chains who are their customers.This will mean working with the regulatory department as a technical coordinator to provide technical support and management of artworks and labels . As a Regulatory administrator you will generate and manage data. This will mean exposure to information related to the company productsYou responsibilities will include REACh compliance, GHS, CLP and Safety Data Sheet AuthoringSome of your duties include creating and maintaining a library of technical information which will then require maintaining a library of up to date formulation records for all products.QUALIFICATIONSEducated to degree level within Chemistry. BSc or MSc in Chemistry. Ideally experience working as a chemist within formulations for a Chemical organisation. This experience is a bonus to have and not a core requirementIdeally some basic experience within a technical position or at administrative level with regulatory affairs.
