Senior Mechanical Engineer

You will be responsible to schedule and conduct routine mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance. Diagnose and report findings on larger equipment failures providing repair recommendations and cost estimates to Manager. Maintain all equipment within all applicable codes and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities
Specifically you will be responsible to:  

• Monitor and maintain equipment and installations related to mechanical Session.

• Provide technical Inspection of the assigned equipment Plants / installations. In case of any abnormality, take immediate corrective action.

• Implement effective planned preventive maintenance system of assigned equipment, plants and installations.

• Provide training to staff on assigned equipment.

• Review design drawings for all requested changes to improve the existing facilities and share your concerns for smooth and successful execution the project /task. 

• Monitor /asses the quality of work and services being delivered by the contractor. 

• Develop a team of highly motivated skilled staff can able to assist in achieving departmental goals, tasks . 

• Develop junior team members by imparting effective training to enhance their technical skills.

• Based on annual equipment replacement plan and performance of the equipment, identify and recommend the same for replacement in upcoming budget.

• Special task may be given by Department Head.

• Ability to manage and maintain effectively, efficiently and independently the assigned equipment.

• Plants and installations for smooth operation and optimum utilization of the same.

• Coordinate with relevant concerns in arranging required spares and material in performing effective maintenance of plants, services & equipments.

Requirements

• B.E Mechanical preferred.

• Marine Engineer / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

• 10 – 15 years of related experience including 5 – 6 years supervisory experience.

• Shall be familiar with industry mechanical standards and codes.

• Possesses working knowledge of mechanical equipment applicable to hospital/hotel industry.

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English & Urdu.

• Computer literate.

• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Capable to work with minimum supervision.

• Familiar with quality assurance system and concepts.
