Senior Assessment Officer - Manchester - OT/Physiotherapy
NonStop's client is currently looking for experienced Senior Assessment Officer (Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy). This local authority is committed to creating stronger communities and increasing resilience within adult's services.
Key requirements are as follows:
- Hold Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
- Knowledge of Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Models of Practice.
- Knowledge and application of assessment and interventions relevant to disabled people.
- Knowledge of complex equipment and major adaptations
- Hold or willing to undertake and achieve accredited Manual Handling and Advice Training.
- Have an understanding of relevant Social Care legislation.
- Full driving license and access to a car for business use.
- To be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
You will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing decisions made following social care assessments, actively lead in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of changes in working practice and service delivery and undertake management duties
You must hold an enhanced DBS.
