Job Purpose
The University of Birmingham in the UK is seeking a highly qualified a post-doctoral research fellow, to work on a project associated with an EPSRC grant “maximising cavitation to clean dental implants”. The successful candidate will be involved in developing numerical capabilities for the simulation of the dynamics of a bubble cloud.
Person Specification
Applicants must have a PhD in Engineering, Mechanics, Applied Mathematics, or related discipline. Successful applicants should have demonstrated strong research capabilities in computational fluid dynamics. Prior knowledge and experience of the following areas will be advantageous for the position:
• Interactions of Bubbles,
• Programming experience,
• Good record of top journal publications, and
• Fluid and Structure Interaction using Commercial Software (such as ABAQUS).
