Support Worker - Local Authority - Greater Manchester
This contract role is 35 hours a week Monday to Friday. This role is a combination of support worker and housing management officer. The main requirement is for additional support workers. The role is to support clients whilst in homeless accommodation, safeguarding, rehousing, helping with rent and benefit advice, helping clients get into education/work, children into schools etc.
To guarantee an interview you must:
- Hold a NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Experience working with homeless people or working with other vulnerable groups or working in a residential setting.
- Able to start immediately and possess an enhanced DBS.
