Are you an experienced lab technician in the areas of electronics and mechanical systems? Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge as part of one of the leading Mechanical Engineering Schools in the country?  Do you want to make a difference to world class teaching and learning activities?

We are looking for a professional and proactive individual to join our team and support learning, teaching and general teaching related activities within the School of Mechanical Engineering. You will work closely with technicians, students and academic staff within the Robotics, Control and Dynamics, and Strength of Materials Laboratories, but where required also in the other laboratories within the School of Mechanical Engineering.

You will possess a recognised qualification in mechanical engineering, and will have successfully completed a recognised apprenticeship (or similar) in mechanical engineering. In addition, you will have experience of using a variety of mechanical engineering methods to design and construct prototypes from varied materials, and you will have basic knowledge of analogue and digital electronics and/or a working knowledge of electronic instrumentation.
