School Science Technician - career progression

If you have experience as a School Science Technician and you're looking for a stable role with great career progression then this could be the role for you.

Based in the heart of Worcestershire, a nationally recognised school and college is looking for a Science Technician to join their high-performing school on a permanent basis. You will be ensuring the provision of practical support in Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons at all key stages in the College.

What makes this school unique is the fact that you'll be catering specifically to the needs of students with visual impairments. You'll need to have excellent attention to detail but seeing the students enjoy the practical lessons you have prepared will give you an enormous sense of satisfaction.

You need to have:

• Experience of working in a technical support role in an educational setting.

• An understanding of Health and Safety and Risk Assessments.
• Any experience within SEN environment would be beneficial but it is not essential.
