Job Details
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Research Fellow to work on an exciting and novel health services research study funded by NIHR in the School of Healthcare.
The project is developing peer mentorship to improve self-management of osteoarthritis and will involve developing and evaluating a peer support model, which will be delivered by trained volunteers.
A feasibility study will be undertaken to evaluate how feasible and acceptable this peer support model is for individuals with osteoarthritis; in supporting them in managing their symptoms and the associated impact of living with osteoarthritis more effectively. This work will inform the development of a future clinical trial.
You will have a first degree and PhD in a subject area relating to health services research/applied health research/ social care; or have equivalent research experience. You will also have relevant research experience in an academic or relevant health care or social care setting
