Job Details

The research group Experimental Immunology at the Department of Biomedicine of the University Hospital Basel in Switzerland is looking for a Technical assistant to work on human immunology (starting immediately).

 

The Experimental Immunology research group is a well-established team with expertise in immunology and a strong collaboration with clinicians at the University Hospital in Basel and with academic partners worldwide.

Your assignment

  • Protein and metabolite analysis and purification
  • Tissue culture work and cellular assays
  • Lab organization and administration

You are also expected to learn new techniques.

 

Your profile

  • Degree in Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Biotechnology
  • At least 3 years' lab experience
  • Good knowledge of biochemical techniques (SDS-PAGE, Western Blot) and any other techniques useful for interdisciplinary Life Science research. Expertise in HPLC purification will be advantageous
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Accuracy, flexibility and integrity at work
  • Good team player, independent, self-driven with good interpersonal skills and enthusiasm.
