Student Liaison Officer for Business School

The Postgraduate Student Liaison Officer is a member of the Business School’s student administration team reporting directly to the Assistant Manager, Student Administration.

The Postgraduate Student Liaison Officer is responsible for assessing applications from prospective students, both domestic and international, for entry into the School’s postgraduate programs; and to advise students on program rules and course selection.

The successful applicant will have a relevant bachelor’s degree or experience/training, a minimum of two years administration experience preferably within student administration in the tertiary sector, a broad knowledge or ability to quickly gain knowledge of UQ policies and procedures particularly in relation to student matters, well-developed computer skills, high-level written and effective interpersonal skills and oral communication skills, a strong orientation to the provision of a high level of customer service, and an empathy and ability to communicate with students.

This is a full time, fixed-term appointment up to 31 January 2018 at HEW level 5. The remuneration package will be in the range of $64,597 - $72,348 per annum, plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range of $75,579 - $84,648 per annum).
