Primary Responsibilities:

As a member of the Marketing staff, this individual will take a leading role in planning and scheduling of events associated with the recruitment of international students. The individual will take the lead in targeting and recruiting high-quality students and provide personalized attention and communication with prospects. The Regional Manger is supervised by the Director of Admissions.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

A Master's degree and at least two years of work experience in an educational or corporate setting involved in the following activities: recruiting, sales, marketing, public relations, or training. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are required. A desire to remain in a career within higher education administration and/or experience working with and making presentations to students and/or high-level professionals in a business or educational environment would be an asset.  The ability to participate effectively in an English language work environment is essential.  Ability to communicate in any other Asian languages is desirable.

 

The following describes the duties expected of a Regional Manager:

  • Takes the lead in development and making of presentations for a diverse group of prospective students who attend events or work with education consultants.
  • Works closely with other Regional Managers and supervisor to achieve targets and goals set forth.
  • Serves as enrollment Coordinator for accepted students and helps to organize on-campus and off-campus recruitment events, including receptions, open house and yield events.
  • Leads and manages Internet and other research about institutions, prospective consultants, and the gathering of additional information - to enable informed decisions regarding the feasibility and effectiveness of prospective recruiting related efforts.
  • Oversees preparations for international field trips by following the Step-by-step Marketing plan.
  • Participates and leads in international field trips as necessary--- it is likely that 5-10 international trips of 1-2 weeks duration will be required annually.
  • Ensures student contact information is collected at recruitment events and oversees the entry of these data into the International Relations Student Recruitment database
  • Manages and conducts student follow-up after a recruiting event to encourage students to consider SolBridge as an education choice
  • Provides to the Director of Admissions, timely reports during and at the conclusion of each field visit as specified.

 

Remuneration and Benefits:

  • Salary:  A competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
  • Airfare Reimbursement: Full reimbursement (50% upon arrival/ 50% upon completion of 2- year contract)
  • Housing: Semi-furnished housing
  • Paid Vacation: 4 weeks paid vacation plus Korean National Holidays
  • Health Insurance: Fee of approx. 3.2% taken off each month salary
  • Private University Pension: Fee of approx. 8% taken off each month salary

His published books include Japan’s Nuclear Option (Author), The Politics of East Asia (Co-author), American Defense Policy (Co-Editor and Contributor), and Regional Security Issues (Co-author). A book on American foreign policy written by Endicott and two colleagues, U.S. Foreign Policy: History, Process, and Policy, was published in 2005. He received his Ph.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy of Tufts University in cooperation with Harvard University. In October 2010, Endicott was awarded an Honorary Doctorate (Doctorate Honoris Causa) from the University of Toulouse, founded in 1229 in Toulouse, France, in recognition of his efforts to build a regime of international peace and cooperation in Northeast Asia.
