Do you want to have day to day responsibility for a busy PCB manufacturing facility? Do you have proven experience of working in an Electronics Workshop, using a range of PCB manufacturing techniques?

The Faculty of Engineering Electronics Workshop provides teaching and research electronics support to the five schools within the Faculty of Engineering. As part of this service the workshop produces fast turnaround prototype printed circuit boards (PCBs) for both conventional and microwave circuits on a variety of substrates. You will have primary responsibility for the pre-processing of data and production of circuit boards using a variety of small scale techniques. Additional duties will include electrical safety testing and support within the electronics workshop.

In this varied and interesting role, you will be based in our state-of-the-art workshop facility with responsibility for the operation of the PCB Facility, containing a suite of equipment designed to manufacture PCBs to support teaching and research in the Faculty of Engineering.

We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic and motivated individual with ability to work alone and as part of a team of analytical technicians. Communicative, organised, flexible and committed, you must have a positive, proactive approach to your work.
