Job Details
Do you enjoy helping people with IT solutions? Are you passionate about IT and customer service? Do you have experience of working in a customer facing technical support role? Are you interested in helping staff and students with IT solutions at the University of Leeds?
We are looking for an IT Technician to join our busy IT Service Desk team, which provides first and second line IT support to customers across the University. You will work with a diverse range of customers, services and technology providing advice and finding solutions to IT issues, as well as working to support small projects and additional IT services.
With excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively translate and communicate technical information to a wide range of users via email, telephone and face to face, you will enjoy working in a busy environment where the day to day work is varied.
You will also have knowledge of and experience of using Windows, Mac and/or Linux client operating systems and be able to develop the skills to resolve a range of technical issues, trouble shooting and providing fixes for desktops, laptops and mobiles devices working with a range of operating systems and software.
