Job Details

The Centro Nacional de Investigación Sobre la Evolución Humana is seeking a Research Fellow in Palaeolithic Archaeology vfor the current Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions-Individual Fellowships call (MSCA-IF), which closes 14 September 2017.

If the proposal is successful the Fellow will join a group of researchers in the Prehistoric Technology Program. The research program focuses on the study of the origin and evolution of Plio-Pleistocene lithic technology. The candidate will be working with scientists at Gona (Ethiopia), specifically assisting on investigating stone raw material sources and relationships to archaeological sites (Oldowan and Acheulian). S/he will play a major role in investigating raw material selectivity and implications for hominin behavioural evolution.
