Here’s an exciting opportunity to stamp your print on a programme in its inaugural year, in which you’ll develop courses from the ground up and lead the University of Auckland into new places!

The School of Curriculum & Pedagogy invites applications at a level between Lecturer and Associate Professor, to teach and establish your own research community in the area of sport coaching and leadership.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a doctorate in an area related to sport coaching or sport leadership

  • Have strong, established connections with the coaching community

  • Be able to demonstrate experience in lecturing/tutoring or teaching sport coaching or leadership at a tertiary level

  • Have practical experience in coaching and/or sport leadership, including working effectively with practice communities in sport coaching and leadership.

Existing connections with sports sciences, sport sociology or sport psychology would also be advantageous. To learn more about this position, please view the position description below.
