    The Faculty of the Professions is one of five faculties at the University of Adelaide. It is comprised of the prestigious Adelaide Law School, the School of Architecture and Built Environment, the Adelaide Business School, the School of Economics, and the Entrepreneurship, Commercialisation and Innovation Centre. The faculty offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and has strong connections with government and industry.     Working under general direction from the Interdisciplinary Research Development Manager, the Faculty Research Administrator provides high quality, efficient administrative, research and project support services to the Faculty. The position provides a range of support including coordinating and undertaking Faculty of Professions Research Committee and Faculty Research Strategy and research theme support requirements, coordinating workshops and events with key stakeholders and providing support to key Faculty research support mechanisms.

    Salary: (HEO5) $67,262 - $75,057 per annum.

    Superannuation: An employer contribution of 9.5% applies.

    Term of position: This fixed term position is available from August 2017 until September 2018.

    Position requirements:

    To be successful you should have:

    • Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to prioritise competing demands and deliver on time.

    • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including government and industry.

    • Demonstrated experience in the provision of administrative and project support services including a high level of competence in the coordination of committees, workshops and events.

    • Demonstrated experience identifying and analysing information and issues to support the development of practical solutions and recommendations for effective client outcomes.

    • Demonstrated experience communicating, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, timely and customer service focused.
