Job Details
The CanTest Collaborative (www.cantest.org), is a CRUK-funded programme based in the Universities of Cambridge, Exeter, Leeds and UCL (plus international partners).
This Collaborative provides an exceptional opportunity for a clinician who intends to pursue a career in cancer detection/diagnostic research. It also provides an exceptional environment to undertake research into how best cancer should be detected and investigated in the primary care setting.
We would like to hear from exceptional clinicians preferably General Practitioners (including GP Trainees) who have an interest in combining clinical and academic practice. You would be supported through world-class doctoral research training and receive protected time to develop high quality academic skills through the completion of a MD or PhD.
You will work within one of the four host Institutions on a portfolio of agreed work. You will also be able to attend and contribute to the International School for Cancer Detection Research in Primary Care, newly established by the CanTest Collaborative.
