Senior Lektoraat in Leierskap- en Bestuursafrigting

As deel van sy strategiese ontwikkelingsplan wil die Universiteit van Stellenbosch Bestuurskool (wat deel uitmaak van die Fakulteit Ekonomiese en Bestuurswetenskappe) voltydse akademiese personeel werf. Die Skool is een van die voorste verskaffers van internasionaal geakkrediteerde programme in Suid-Afrika. Die Skool is internasionaal by AACSB, EQUIS en AMBA geakkrediteer,'n prestasie wat slegs 'n paar bestuurskole in die wêreld kon behaal.

Navorsing geniet hoë prioriteit by die Skool. Die USB is dus besig om vakgebied-spesifieke navorsing te ontwikkel wat tersaaklik is vir sy visie om internasionaal erken te word as dié sakekennisvennoot in Afrika. Daarom sal aansoekers met beduidende navorsingsprestasie of  potensiaal 'n voordeel geniet.

As part of its strategic growth plan, the University of Stellenbosch Business School (which falls under the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences) is seeking to recruit full-time faculty members. The School has succeeded in establishing itself as one of the top providers of internationally accredited programmes in South Africa. The School enjoys the status of AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA international accreditation - reserved for only a few schools in the world.

Research is a priority for the School, which is in the process of building clusters of research aimed at realising its vision of being globally distinguished as the business knowledge partner in Africa. Hence, applicants with a significant research track record or research potential will have an advantage.

  • Die ontwikkeling en lewering van akademiese inhoud op die gebied van Leierskap- en Bestuursafrigting (op Nagraadse Diploma sowel as Meestersgraadvlak);
  • Toesighouding oor navorsing op meestersgraadvlak;
  • Bydrae tot navorsing en internasionale publikasies;
  • Deelname aan die administrasie van sekere departementele aktiwiteite en ontwikkeling om 'n leidende rol in die bestuur van die MPhil in die Bestuursafrigtingsprogram te kan speel, waarvoor die posbekleër die nodige mentorskap sal ontvang;
  • Bevordering van inklusiwiteit by die USB.

  • Developing and delivering academic content in Leadership and Management Coaching (both on Postgraduate Diploma and Master's levels);
  • Supervising research on Master's level;
  • Contributing to research and international publications;
  • Participating in the administration of some departmental activities and development towards playing a leading role in managing the MPhil in the Management Coaching programme for which the candidate will receive the necessary mentoring;
  • Promoting inclusivity at the USB.

  • 'n PhD, of studies ter verwerwing van 'n PhD, op die gebied van Leierskap/Bestuursafrigting met 'n sterk klem op ontwikkeling;
  • Doseerervaring en studieleiding op nagraadse vlak;
  • Ervaring in die bestuur van akademiese programme en die fasilitering van die leerproses, en die bereidwilligheid om in sodanige rol op te tree.

  • PhD, or studying towards a PhD, in the area of Leadership/Management Coaching with strong emphasis on development;
  • Experience in teaching and research supervision on Master's level;
  • Experience in academic programme management and learning process facilitation, and a keen interest in playing these roles.

  • 'n Publikasierekord in geakkrediteerde akademiese vaktydskrifte (plaaslik en/of internasionaal), en 'n passie vir ontwikkeling in die akademiese milieu.

  • Publication in accredited academic journals, either nationally or internationally, and a passion for growth in an academic milieu.
