Academic Services - Academic Programmes

We’re looking for someone with strong administrative and communication skills, and excellent attention to detail to join Academic Programmes for a six-month period to cover parental leave. 

 

What is the role?

Working within a small and very supportive team, your responsibilities will include helping faculties with the preparation and approval of new academic programme proposals and regulation amendments, maintaining course and programme information on the University’s student management system, overseeing the peer review process for new qualifications from across the New Zealand universities, and reviewing and revising proposals and submissions to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met.  You must also be flexible enough to assist with a range of other activities in order to meet operational needs.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • A friendly and customer-focused attitude.
  • A good understanding of the tertiary environment.
  • Previous administrative experience, including experience working with a student management system or other database is preferred.
