The Role

We are currently seeking a full-time, Teaching Focussed Lecturer to work within the entrepreneurship discipline area in the UQ Business School. In this position you will engage in the teaching of our practice-based entrepreneurship programs and work alongside existing staff to improve the design and development of teaching, learning and administrative processes within the School.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have experience in business start-up and/or commercialisation of technologies and will be familiar with lean start-up methodologies. The appointee will possess tertiary qualifications in the area of entrepreneurship or a technological area relevant to our programs and will have a demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students and to mentor students engaged in start-up or commercialisation.

Remuneration

This is a part-time (60%), 1 year fixed-term teaching focussed academic appointment at Lecturer Level B with a desired commencement date of 1 January 2018. The remuneration package will be in the range of $92,142- $109,419 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 9.5% (total package will be in the range $107,807- $128,020 p.a.).
