The role

The UQ Business School is seeking Academics (Teaching and Research) to be engaged in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision and further development of the School’s programs, and to undertake research of high quality.   Applicants with expertise in strategy, entrepreneurship and innovation will be highly regarded.  Depending on the expertise of the successful applicant, appointment may be either at Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor level.

The person

Applicants should have attained or submitted/all but dissertation a PhD in Strategy or a related discipline, and have a well-rounded understanding of strategy topics. Expertise in other areas covered by the discipline, such as innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship will be an advantage. Applicants should have a demonstrated ability to contribute to high quality teaching, an active program of research and an established record of publications in leading national and international journals.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, continuing, teaching and research academic appointment with an expected commencement for Semester 1, 2018.  Depending upon the level of appointment, the remuneration package will be in the range of:
For Lecturer (Academic Level B) $89,458 - $106,232 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $104,667 - $124,291 p.a.).
For Senior Lecturer (Academic Level C) $109,586 - $126,360 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $128,216 - $147,841 p.a.).
For Associate Professor (Academic Level D) $135,909-$149,731 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $159,014 - $175,185 p.a.).

A market loading may be negotiated for successful applicants.
