Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
Following the launch of its new Vision and Strategy, the University of Bristol is investing heavily in its Planning and Business Intelligence function to support the Senior Management Team and to help drive forward strategy implementation.
We’re looking for an additional Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join the team at this exciting time. This new role will develop and deliver Business Intelligence solutions to support our new integrated planning process.
The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, significant experience of working with data and databases and the know-how to transform data into management information, presented in an accessible, user-friendly format.
Experience of working with data warehouses, business intelligence tools and familiarity with the HE environment and performance metrics would be a bonus.
BI is more than just working with data. We’re seeking rounded individuals with strong communication and inter-personal skills. This will include being a good team player, comfortable talking to and working with colleagues of all grades and backgrounds, and who can communicate fluently and effectively, both orally and in writing.
The closing date for applications is Monday 3 July.
For informal enquiries, please contact Matthew Shute, Head of Planning and Business Intelligence (matt.shute@bristol.ac.uk or 01173 317595).

The University is committed to creating and sustaining a fully inclusive culture.  We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and communities.
