A shared post-doctoral position in Immunology/Life Sciences is available in the above laboratories of the Institut Pasteur network. The position is funded by a programme transversal de recherche (PTR).
The project will investigate how Nod1 sensing of HDM may promote allergic asthma using in vitro and in vivo approaches in original mouse models (Cre-lox and CRISP/Cas9 systems) developed in the different laboratories.

The selected candidate will be a highly motivated researcher with an interest in host bacterial interactions, mucosal immunology and asthma, and solid expertise in cellular immunology, asthma animal models, multi parametric flow cytometry.

Candidates should have a demonstrated record of significant scientific accomplishments at the graduate or postgraduate level.
Working experience with animals and know-how of flow cytometry is essential. The successful candidate should be able to design and execute experiments, analyse and interpret data, write manuscripts for publication and present data to an international audience.

The selected candidate will be a team player, independent, self-driven with good interpersonal skills.
Start date between September 1st 2017 and December 2017 for 18 months
