Digital Resources Officer

Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity to join the University’s new Bristol Institute for Learning and Teaching (BILT) - a new initiative that champions educational excellence by supporting innovation and scholarship and by ensuring that Bristol’s education is shaped by current research and evidence.

We have a vacancy for a full-time Digital Resources Officer, who will be the primary developer of an interactive website and online repository of learning and teaching resources. You will be responsible for designing the format for the repository and its content, ensuring it is exciting, engaging and current. This will be a very collaborative role as you will work closely with staff across the University (including academic staff and professional services staff who have knowledge of digital communications) to identify learning and teaching initiatives, develop them in to accessible and interactive resources and then promote them widely to academic staff both within the University and externally.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual who has experience of delivering successful digital or web-based projects, understanding of pedagogic frameworks and developments in educational practice and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

For informal enquiries, please contact Alvin Birdi (Director of BILT) – alvin.birdi@bristol.ac.uk.
