Job Details

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate in Integrative Cancer Biology, working with leading academics in cancer biology and epidemiology as well as international collaborators. Funded by Cancer Research UK, the Integrative Cancer Epidemiology Programme is a 5 year study to investigate the molecular epidemiology of cancer and identify underpinning biological mechanisms.

The successful applicant will work within ‘Work package 3’ of the Programme which aims to understand biological mechanisms potentially amenable to intervention, and will be involved in analysing bio-samples from epidemiological studies, working across the epidemiology – cell biology divide. This work will complement a related programme of work to undertake systematic reviews of mechanistic studies based on cancer-causing exposures. The post holder will be part of a large interdisciplinary team in cancer biology.
