The Role

The UQ Business School is looking for a Teaching Focused Academic to be based at the St Lucia campus with expertise in either advertising, consumer behaviour, marketing strategy or market research.

In this role you will contribute to the effective teaching of advertising, consumer behaviour, marketing strategy, market research and/or the foundations of marketing, curriculum development and the enhancement of teaching methodology.

 

The Person

The successful applicant will possess PhD or equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience in Marketing and have a demonstrated ability to contribute to high quality teaching in one of the major areas of marketing, including advertising, consumer behaviour, marketing strategy, market research and/or foundations of marketing.  Evidence of excellence in teaching MBA students will be highly regarded.

 

Remuneration

The remuneration package for a Lecturer (Level B) is in the range of $92,142- $109,419 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $107,807- $128,020 p.a.).
