Job Details
As a Lecturer you will carry out teaching in the history of science communication, and related areas at undergraduate and postgraduate levels whilst also contributing to the effective running of the Centre for History & Philosophy of Science, the School of PRHS and wider Faculty and University. You may contribute collaboratively to a number of other modules in the history of science & technology areas including ‘Darwin, Germs and the Bomb’, and ‘History & Philosophy of Science in Ten Objects’. You will be expected to undertake the normal range of duties that arises in connection with the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate modules, including lecturing, seminars, dissertation supervision and assessment.
You will have a PhD in the area of History of Science and or Science Communication, and relevant teaching experience.
