Job Details
Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences
Cancer Trials New Zealand (CTNZ) was set up to improve health and other outcomes for New Zealand by providing a national resource to facilitate clinical research in cancer.
The primary focus of the group is to encourage and support investigator initiated oncology trials. As the capacity of the trial centre increases, more early phase/translational projects will be instigated in collaboration with the New Zealand and international biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. The group is also exploring linkages with initiatives such as rare tumour registries, pathology repositories, and national clinical databases.
CTNZ sits within the University of Auckland’s Discipline of Oncology, which is part of the Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences, a comprehensive health and medical faculty offering a range of professional programmes and hosting a number of research centres and clusters.
