Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Civil & Geotechnical Consultancy

We are currently looking for a Senior level Geotechnical Engineer with strong technical and client facing experience.

You will join a team of Engineering Geologists and produce:

• Geo-environmental Desk Studies and Site Investigation Reports
• Coal Mining Risk Reports
• Tenders and Specifications for grouting of mine workings and earthworks
• responses to regulator conditions/queries
• assist the Department Head with the day to day management of the department and supervision of junior staff.

The role will be generally office but there may be the occasional requirement to attend client meetings, supervise site work on a visiting basis and occasionally carry out fieldwork activity, such as, logging boreholes and trial pits.

Experience:

• 5-10+ years experience
• Project management (costing, tendering, invoicing)
• First Degree in Geology or Engineering Geology (Essential)
• Masters in Engineering Geology or Contamination Assessment related subject (Desirable)
• Chartered Geologist (CGeol) status or evidence of working towards (Essential)
