Want to Work in a Transitions Team?

Qualified Social Worker - Greater Manchester

Our client is currently seeking a child/adult social worker for their transitions team, where Qualified Social Workers will be required to work with 16 to 25 year olds. This local authority is committed to managing the safeguarding risk and promoting independence and well being of adults and older people. Forging a much closer relationship between adult social care workforce and community organisations, to improve the outcomes in the community.

Due to the nature of the service and the complexity of some of the cases you will hold, they are ideally looking for someone who has worked in a high pressure environment before. However, they understand the importance of feeling like you are part of a team when working in these situations and as such have dedicated time for each social worker to have case supervision and time to work from home when possible.

Experienced Social Workers must have a background within carers assessments, learning and physical disabilities and duty work. A Social Work Degree and a HCPC registration are also required.

For further information on the role, please send your CV in a Microsoft Word format to Jessel on j.samba@nonstopcare.com or give me a ring on 0207 940 2100.
