Response Officer within the Community Alarm Team - Manchester - Earn Up to £10.25ph

NonStop's client is currently looking for Response Officer to work within their Community Alarm team based in Manchester. You will be supporting people to help them remain safe and independent in their in their homes, monitoring and responding to alerts triggered from various pieces of assistive technology equipment installed in the customers homes or worn on their person. By speaking to the customer through an open speech line or telephone, attending their home, or by referring onto other services for assessment or support.

Key Role Accountabilities:

  • Work as part of the Community Alarm team and will be expected to contribute to the provision of a high quality service which supports people to help them remain safe and independent in their in their homes.
  • Must hold a full clean driving license as they will be driving a response vehicle adhering to council regulations.
  • Monitoring activation alerts from pieces of Assistive Technology such as pendant alarms, bed sensors, smoke alarms and falls detectors which come in to the service via a range of methods.
  • Undertake Moving and Handling duties using approved pieces of equipment such as a lifting cushion and support customer's emergency personal care needs maintaining the customer's dignity at all times.
  • Facilitate customer feedback and assist in identifying solutions to resolve issues to improve service delivery. Feedback any compromise in service or safety of staff or service users immediately to a line manager.

Candidates must have a full driving licence, and be prepared to work on a shift pattern 35 hours a week over 7 days (including weekends and bank holidays), 8.48 hours per day.

Must be available to start immediately.
