Job Details
You should:
- Be fluent in Phyton, R and Scala
- Have experience with Spark or some other Hadoop-based batch analysis systems
- Show a knowledge of the current state-of-the-art in open-source distributed computing applications and be comfortable picking the right tools for he job
- Worked with AWS or other cloud providers to run distributed applications
- Be comfortable with the idea of setting up a private cloud yourself to run distributed batch-analysis programs
- Be interested in geospatial data
