Job Details

Are you a STEMM graduate with proficiency in Python programming language? Do you want to support the development of novel neuroscience acquisition techniques?

We are seeking an individual who is proficient in the Python programming language who will be responsible for developing software to control custom-built Neuroscience equipment for optical stimulation of neurons as well as imaging neural activity. You will develop a graphical user interface to implement existing functions as well as developing additional functionality.

You will work independently on a day-to-day basis, support the development of novel neuroscience acquisition techniques, and will be in charge of software maintenance and some IT administration.

You will have a Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or above) in a STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine) subject, evidence of practical experience and be proficient in Python programming language.
