Job Purpose

Development and testing of novel CMOS sensors for particle physics applications in connection with the EU-funded AIDA-2020 project. Participation in the development of upgraded tracking detectors and data exploitation with the ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider.

 

Person Specification

PhD in experimental particle physics and past experience with tracking detectors are essential criteria. Previous work with CMOS tracking sensors or experimental data analysis for particle physics particularly with the ATLAS collaboration are an advantage.
